Brioche au praline. Lyon is known for praline rose, a confection made of almonds and pink caramel. Here, it's baked into a delicious, soft brioche. I ate it on a bench in Place Bellecour, the biggest square in Lyon and one of the biggest in Europe.

A galette with camembert, walnuts, and apricot purée from La Crêperie de DéDé. Galettes and camembert both have a very strong flavor, so this was an interesting, but spectacular, meal.

A chocolate éclair and an Orangina. Orangina is the French equivalent of Orange Crush, but it has real orange juice and pulp in it, so it's much better.
